MetLife has developed a useful calculator tool available for superannuation members. In order to help educate superannuation members about the correct level of life insurance for them, MetLife offers its calculator service to their superannuation clients to assist members to make informed choices regarding their insurance needs.
MetLife offers two options for the calculator, one provides calculations for Life and TPD cover and the other provides an Income Protection option. The calculator does not provide advice, but it does offer a call-to-action providing links to appropriate application forms with fund contact details for further information. The calculator is designed to be uploaded onto clients’ websites.

Online Query allows fund administrators the ability to securely access detailed member underwriting and claims reports, the latest status updates, additional requirements and immediate access to underwriting forms. The system updates nightly and also provides automated daily and weekly email alerts on pending applications. MetLife’s clients and all Online Query users are provided with detailed user guides on this service.
