MetLife supports flood affected customers across Qld and NSW

MetLife Australia is supporting Retail customers and their advisers affected by floods across Queensland and New South Wales with a three-month premium waiver.
Meray El-Khoury, Chief Insurance Officer, said:
“This has been a very difficult time for advisers and their clients. For the second year in a row, these communities have been heavily affected by flooding and they need help now more than ever. Many clients are facing the challenge of flooding that is affecting their homes and livelihoods, coupled with COVID. We are offering clients peace of mind that they will continue to be covered by MetLife during this difficult time, providing financial relief as they deal with the current situation.
“In addition, we’re encouraging advisers and clients alike to access 360Health if they need extra support.”
MetLife’s award-winning 360Health program includes services and toolkits even for those not making a claim. Clients, advisers and their immediate families can access a range of resources and tools specific to health conditions instantaneously online. This benefit will see many people displaced by the floods having easy-to-access, any time health services to support their wellbeing.
The premium waiver is available for customers within the NSW flood affected areas and QLD flood affected areas, according to the Australian government Disaster Assist website. Advisers are encouraged to contact MetLife by calling 1800 523 523 to activate the waiver between 22 February to 22 May 2022.
