MetLife Shortlisted in ANZIIF Awards 2023

MetLife Australia has been shortlisted in two categories for the 19th annual ANZIIF Australian Insurance Industry Awards, which recognises and celebrates the ways businesses and individuals have positively contributed to the insurance industry.
MetLife is a finalist in the Life Insurance Company of the Year category, after winning the award twice, in 2019 and again in 2020. MetLife has also been named a finalist in the Excellence in Workplace Diversity and Inclusion category, an honour it has had every year since the launch of the category in 2019.
As MetLife continues its journey to becoming a digital insurer, its focus has been on delivering great experiences for customers and investing in its people to support them through significant change. MetLife has been innovating to deliver services in a faster, easier and more caring way, by expanding value-added health and wellbeing services such as 360Health Virtual Care, which provides virtual GP assistance anytime, anywhere around the world.
The awards also recognise MetLife’s sustainability commitments, which include remaining carbon neutral since 2016, reducing environmental impact worldwide and furthering Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the workplace and community. The company’s efforts have resulted in support for Habitat for Humanity to help secure housing for people in Australia and overseas, as well as contributing to advancing the experience of LGBTIQ+ people with insurance.

The ANZIIF Awards are an annual celebration of the accomplishments of businesses and individuals across the Australian insurance industry. The winners will be announced by ANZIIF on 24 August 2023.
