Tony Leung

Chief Financial Officer

Tony has been Chief Financial Officer of MetLife Australia since October 2026.

Tony joined MetLife in 2016 and most recently served as Head of Capital, Reinsurance and M&A for Asia. Before that, he served as a sub-regional Chief Financial Officer.

He has over 25 years’ experience in life insurance across Australia and Asia, spanning finance, actuarial, capital management, reinsurance and business development. Before joining MetLife, he held roles at Swiss Re, AXA, AIA, PricewaterhouseCoopers and MLC.

Tony is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Studies).
