Ask a GP

When you have a niggle, a question, something bothering you, but you can’t get to the GP or you're not ready to talk about it, Ask A GP is a confidential service that can help.

The Ask a GP service provides you access to Australian-based General Practitioners (GPs) where you can ask your medical questions, any time, and a GP will answer your question within 24 hours. The answers are medically informed, fact based and related to your specific needs.

Afterall, getting more from your healthcare means being well informed so that you can make the best healthcare decisions that are right for you. This service supports your treating doctor and can be used as many times as needed. They will also identify if any other 360Health services can assist with your query.

Note that you will need to visit your treating doctor for any prescriptions or referrals.

This service is not available for emergency situations. In an emergency, please contact your local emergency services (000 in Australia).

Ask a Mental Health Clinician

When it comes to getting reliable answers to your mental health questions, whether your own mental health or someone that is close to you, the Ask a Mental Health Clinician service provides you access to Australian-based Mental Health Clinicians where you can ask your questions, any time, and you will receive an answer within 24 hours. They will also help to identify if you should be referred to the 360Health Mental Health Assist program or any appropriate community services.

This service supports your treating doctor and can be used as many times as needed. Note that you will need to visit your treating doctor for any prescriptions or referrals.

This is not an emergency service. If you require immediate mental health support you can call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or if you are feeling suicidal or unwell, we advise you to contact your local emergency services (000 in Australia).

When it comes to the wellbeing of your children, getting reliable answers to simple questions can add peace of mind. You might be waiting for an appointment availability, or you may not be sure whether to visit your child’s GP or Paediatrician for the issue, whatever the case Ask a Paediatrician service provides you access to Australian-based Paediatricians where you can ask your medical questions, any time, and a Paediatrician will answer your question within 24 hours. They will also identify if any other 360Health services can assist with your query.

This service supports your child’s treating GP or Paediatrician and can be used as many times as needed. Note that you will need to visit your child’s treating doctor for any prescriptions or referral.

Two

An Australian-based GP, Paediatrician or Mental Health Clinician will review and respond to your question.

Within 24 hours, you’ll receive an email that your answers are ready to read in your 360Health Virtual Care account.

If you are registering for the first time, download the app and follow the prompts. Enter your MetLife policy number or access code in the ‘Membership/Customer number’ field.

If you have already registered, open your 360Health Virtual Care app.

Login with your email and password, select ‘Submit a medical question’ and select the type of consultation. Enter your question in the ‘Reason for appointment,’ adding any supporting information you would like.

You’ll receive confirmation via email that your question has been submitted, and an email within 24 hours when your response is ready to view via your app.
