MetLife wins ANZIIF Life Insurer of the Year Award

MetLife Australia has been named the ANZIIF Life Insurer of the Year 2021 at the 17th annual ANZIIF Australian Insurance Industry Awards. MetLife previously won the Life Insurer of the Year Award in 2019.
The Awards, which recognise excellence and professionalism in the insurance sector, were announced today at an online event.
With the industry significantly impacted by the COVID pandemic throughout 2020 and 2021, MetLife has shown its commitment to customers, business partners and people during this difficult time.
MetLife CEO Richard Nunn said: “We are thrilled to have been named Life Insurer of the Year. This reflects our focus on our customers, partners and people. I’m incredibly proud of the entire MetLife team, who have worked tirelessly over the last two years to continue to support our customers and each other despite the disruption of the pandemic.

The 2021 ANZIIF Awards mark the return of one of the insurance industry’s most prestigious awards, having been cancelled in 2020 due to COVID. The ANZIIF awards are an annual celebration of the accomplishments of businesses and individuals across the Australian insurance industry.
