Alex Sosnov

Alex Sosnov is the Chief People & Culture Officer at MetLife Australia. She is responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of all HR and Talent strategies aligned to business objectives.

Alex has over 25 years of experience in human resources and business leadership, mainly in global financial services. Before joining MetLife, she served as Global Head of Leadership & Management Development at BlackRock. In addition, she held positions at Barclays and TAL, along with roles in the health and non-profit sectors. Since starting at MetLife in 2017, Alex has held roles including Regional Head of Talent and Global HR Business Partner. She was appointed to her current role in 2022 which she held alongside regional talent until 2025.

Alex is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) / Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Educational Psychology from Sydney University.
