Mr Nunn emphasised that:

Australians are facing new challenges as the world continuously changes. Our capital strength, global connectivity, technical agility, and high professionalism, mean that we are well-placed to evolve with our customers and secure their futures.”
Moving forward, the company continues to invest in optimising claims and underwriting, 360Health and retirement solutions that give our customers financial security from their working lives through to retirement.

Since 2005, MetLife Australia has helped more than 2.5 million Australians and paid $6.8b in claims. This milestone is not only a celebration of longevity but a reaffirmation of MetLife’s role as an industry leader, advocating for partners across the Super, Corporate and Retail Advice channels, and acting as a force for good in the Australian community, while delivering care and empathy for customers.
Mr Nunn acknowledged the importance of the company’s business partners who have been and will continue to be part of its journey, thanking them and saying:
