Sydney, 23 January 2026 – MetLife Australia has announced a three‑month premium waiver to support MetLife Protect customers affected by the devastating bushfires across Victoria. The waiver is available on request for eligible customers residing in government‑designated bushfire areas1 and applies to the period 7 January to 7 April 2026.
As communities begin the process of recovery, we extend our sympathy and concern for their losses. We also offer practical support with a three-month premium waiver to ensure customers can maintain important life insurance cover while focusing on rebuilding their lives.
MetLife Protect customers and their families also continue to have access to MetLife’s 360Health program, which provides virtual health services—including Mental Health Assist and Expert Medical Opinion—at no additional cost during this challenging period.
